Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent, Brian Brobbey was in action for Ajax on Wednesday afternoon when the side faced off with FC Volendam in a friendly match.

Due to the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Dutch Eredivisie campaign has been put on hold.

While Brian Brobbey is seen as a future regular for the Netherlands national team, he, unfortunately, missed the final 26-man squad of the side for this year’s world cup.

Today, he was involved in the action when Ajax played a friendly match against FC Volendam in a bid to keep clubs fit.

In a game where FC Volendam had a 2-goal lead after halftime, Brian Brobbey scored twice in the second half to seal a 5-4 win for Ajax.

The exercise ended well for both teams with players putting on a good first to stay in good shape.

Ajax will be playing a few friendly matches before the 2022 FIFA World Cup comes to an end on December 18.
