Ghanaian teenager John Andor is on the brink of a dream move after earning a trial with Brazilian football giants Santos FC having impressed during the recent African Schools Football Championship hosted in Ghana.
Though Ghana finished third in the competition, Andor stood out and ended the tournament as joint-top scorer alongside Ignatius Cyril Acquah Hagan.
His pace, skill, and eye for goal caught the attention of Santos, the club that once nurtured Pelé and Neymar.
Andor will now undergo a two-month trial at the Santos academy in Brazil, where he hopes to prove himself.
Kickoffghana understands the club is keen to monitor his progress closely during his time there.
A successful stint could see him join the ranks of African talents breaking through in South America.
