German-Ghanaian international, Jamie Leweling is set to mark his debut for his new club Union Berlin in an upcoming friendly match against Irish outfit Bohemians.
The talented attacker has this summer sealed a transfer from German side SpVgg Greuther Fürth to the Bundesliga side Union Berlin.
The transfer was completed when SpVgg Greuther Fürth suffered relegation from the Bundesliga to the Bundesliga 2 at the end of the 2021/22 football season.
Due to his lateral ankle ligament tear suffered while on international duty with the German U21 national team, Jamie Leweling’s pre-season with Union Berlin has not gone as planned.
Following the progress in the treatment room, footballghana can report that the player who is eligible to play for the Black Stars in the future is now set to mark his debut for the new club on Saturday when the Germans take on Irish club Bohemians.
