Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Arvin Amoako Appiah is on the verge of completing a move to Malaga from Almeria.

The 22 year old is expected to join the Spanish Segunda Division club on-loan until the end of this season.

He is currently in Switzerland with Malaga for their training camp.

The former Nottingham Forest attacker had an offer to return to England from Ipswich Town, but Almeria wanted him to continue his development in Spain.

Appiah signed for Almeria on a five-year deal in 2019 for a club record €8.8m transfer fee.
