German-born Ghanaian, Ansgar Knauff put up a splendid performance when Frankurt shared the spoils with Tottenham Hotspurs on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League.
Knauff, who won the best Young Player last season started and lasted the entire duration in Frankfurt’s 0-0 stalemate against the Premier League side on home turf.
The on-loan Dortmund winger came close to grabbing the match-winner for his side but his effort was saved by Tottenham goalie Hugo Lloris after the break.
The much-anticipated game ended in a pulsating draw despite both sides creating numerous scoring opportunities.
Meanwhile, the Germany youth international has been in fine form for Frankfurt this season, featuring in all three UEFA Champions’ League group games.
He has also made eight appearances in the Bundesliga this season.
