English-born Ghanaian midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has earned a spot in the English Premier League Team of the Week following his promising performance over the weekend against Everton.
The 18 year old was handed a full debut by Erik Ten Hag as Manchester United won 3-0 against Everton at the Goodison Park.
Mainoo’s international future is currently a battle between Ghana and England for his availability.
He was born to Ghanaian parents in England, making him eligible to play for the Black Stars.
