Italy-born forward of Ghanaian descent, Godberg Cooper featured for UTA Urad on Wednesday when the team drew 2-2 with U. Craiova in the Romanian Superliga.
In the Round 21 encounter today, the striker started and led the lines for his team.
Just three minutes into the first half, Godberg Cooper showed his creativity to set up Claudiu Micovschi to score to give UTA Arad the lead.
The equaliser inspired UTA Arad to pile pressure on the visiting team.
The hosts scored a second goal in the 7th minute thanks to an own goal from Raúl Silva.
Despite the advantage, UTA Arad could not secure all three points.
Goals from Nicușor Bancu and Alexandru Mitriță in the 45th and 76th minutes respectively propelled U. Craiova to secure a 2-2 draw at full-time to earn a point.
