Ghanaian striker Brian Brobbey scores to seal 2-0 win for Ajax against FC Utrecht

Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent, Brian Brobbey put up a fine performance on Sunday morning to help Ajax bag three big points in the Eredivisie.

The young striker started for Ajax when the team played as a guest to FC Utrecht in a matchday four encounter of the ongoing 2022/23 league season.

In a match where the home team fought hard, it was not enough as the visitors got the job done in the first half.

Ten minutes into the first half, Steven Berghuis equalised with a fine effort to shoot Ajax into a deserved lead.

Later before the break, strong forward Brian Brobbey displayed good movement and found the back of the FC Utrecht net to double the lead for Ajax.

Although a number of chances will come the way of both teams in the second half, neither side could score as the game ended 2-0 in favour of Ajax.

On the matchday, Mohammed Kudus played a cameo role as he replaced compatriot Brian Brobbey in the 85th minute.
