Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey is back in training with Arsenal

Arsenal’s midfield dynamo, Thomas Partey, has rejoined the squad in training after a prolonged absence of nearly three months.

The Ghanaian maestro, whose last appearance for the Gunners dates back to October 24, 2023, was sidelined due to a persistent muscle injury that kept fans on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting news of his recovery

Partey missed the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which is been held in Ivory Coast.

The Black Stars’ deputy skipper was seen actively participating in training alongside Arsenal’s first team signaling positive progress in his recovery.

This injury setback marked the first time Partey has missed an AFCON since his debut in 2016. The midfielder had consistently featured in three consecutive AFCON tournaments – 2017, 2019, and 2021.

The 30-year-old has made four appearances in the English Premier League this season.

The Gunners are preparing to face Nottingham Forest away on January 30th.
