Young Ghanaian midfielder Sulemana Ibrahim has shared his excitement after helping Cagliari secure victory over Atalanta in the Italian Serie A.

The 20-year-old played full throttle of the match as his outfit came from behind snatch victory against Atalanta on home turf at the weekend.

Sulemana delivered an outstanding performance when Cagliari inflicted a 2-1 victory over their opponent.

After the game, the former Hellas Verona midfielder took to social media to express his joy following his sides triumph over Atalanta.

“Victory +3” he wrote on Instagram sighted by Footballghana.com.

Atalanta broke the deadlock after just 13 minutes into the game through Gianluca Scamacca before Tommaso Augello pulled parity, three minutes to the halftime break.

Putting on a stellar performance, Cagliari, who has been inconsistent this season emerged victorious in the crucial match.

Italy international Nicolas Viola netted the match-winner two minutes to full time to secure maximum points for the host.

The Ghanaian youngster joined Cagliari last summer from Hellas Verona and has since established himself as a key member of the team.

This season, he has made 18 appearances across competitions, scoring two goals in the process.
