RC Lens Sporting Director, Florent Ghisolfi has described Ghanaian midfielder Salis Abdul Samed as a complete midfielder after securing his services in the ongoing transfer window.
The club in the northern city of Lens in France, confirmed the signing of Samed on Friday on a five year contract.
The deal is expected to see Clermont receive about €5 million for the 22-year-old midfielder.
Ghisolfi was happy with the signing of Samed and said, “He was our priority at the post. He is a player who has a high volume of play and running, and a lot of intensity.
“Salis is a complete midfielder, influential in both defensive and offensive aspects, but whose development potential remains significant. His qualities, his commitment and his generosity fully include Salis in our project.”
Samed was integral in the survival of newly-promoted Clermont in Ligue 1, making 31 outings and netted two goals.
