Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Agyekum made his mark on the pitch for Liefering after recovering from a grueling three-month injury.
Agyekum’s return, which saw him enter the game in the 57th minute, was perfectly timed, as he effortlessly combined with Adam Daghim to assist Zetey Jano in equalizing the score for Liefering in their thrilling 1-1 draw with Sturm Graz II.
Agyekum expressed his joy at being back in action, saying,: “I feel very excited to be back on the field. I have always waited for this day, as going through my recovery process and hoping for my comeback to which I’m back on the field is a great feeling,” he told kickoffghana.com.

Agyekum’s return promises to provide Liefering with the boost they need in the league, as they currently find themselves in the relegation zone, sitting 15th with 10 points after eleven games.
