Issah, 23, joined last year following his struggle at Danish giants Nordsjaeland.
The former Liberty Professionals and Stade Rennes enforcer impressed under former US coach Bob Bradley, where he featured in 26 games for the side last term.
And the Ghanaian midfieder has been assessing his performance and gives himself thumps up.
“The season has been good for me. I am highly pleased with my first season at Stabaek, talking about my performances with the club throughout the season. I will definitely say that the season has ended in a grand style for me.” he is quoted by Footballmadeinghana.com.
“The challenge started right after the pre-season till the middle of the season. Everybody was fighting for a position and there were three top, top midfielders who were all playing at my position. I have to work hard in order to cement my position permanently.
“I have to intensify my work rate on and off the field to make sure that I completely consolidate a starting spot in our coach line ups. So, this was my real and biggest challenge that I have to dealt with in my debut season with Stabaek FC.”
