English-born Ghanaian midfielder Jordi Osei-Tutu has suffered another injury setback after picking a knock in the game between Rotherham United and Portsmouth.
The Arsenal loanee picked the injury in the 84th minute and had to be replaced by Mickel Miller as Rotherham United lost 3-0.
Having joined the League One side in the January transfer window, the injury-prone midfielder is set for the sidelines once again.
“Jordi is on crutches and a boot as we speak, I thought he’d broken his foot at first. We’ll have to see how he is, but it doesn’t look good,” said manager Paul Warne.
It is yet to be known how long he will be out, but it looks like his season might be over due to the setback.
Jordi Osei-Tutu spent the first half of the season at Nottingham Forest, where injuries limited him to only four appearances.
At Rotherham, he made 11 appearances in all competitions, scoring a goal in the Football League Two trophy.
Meanwhile, the defeat to Portsmouth is a big blow to Rotherham United’s promotion ambitions.
