Ghanaian midfielder Desmond Acquah scores for FCV Dender against SL16 FC U23

Desmond Acquah made a significant contribution to FCV Dender’s 4-1 victory over SL16 FC U23 in the Belgian Challenger Pro League.

The Belgian-born Ghanaian started the game and played for 73 minutes.

The scoring opened in the 8th minute when Nsimba received a pass from Soladio. His initial attempt was blocked by a defender, but he made no mistake with the rebound, sending the ball into the roof of the Liège goal.

FCV Dender doubled their lead in the 60th minute when Soladio found the back of the net, making it 2-0. Just three minutes later, Acquah added his name to the scoresheet with a well-placed shot that went just wide of the post, extending FCV’s lead to 3-0.

SL16 FC U23 managed to pull one back in the 66th minute through Benjdida, who headed a cross past Gies to make it 3-1.

However, FCV Dender sealed the win in the 90th minute when Rajsel scored from the box, securing a 4-1 final score.
