Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong has shared his excitement after helping Bayer Leverkusen to beat Bayern Munich 3-0 in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.
Frimpong registered his name on the scoresheet as his outfit thumped Bayern Munich at the Bay Arena.
The highly-rated right-back, who has been impressive this season, scored the third goal for Leverkusen in the dying moments of the game, sealing the victory and extending his team’s lead at the summit of the table to five points.
“Another day to be proud to be part of this club. Let’s gooooo” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Frimpong has racked up six goals in the Bundesliga as a defender and registered six assists, making him one of the league’s top performers.
His contributions have been vital in Leverkusen’s successful campaign, and he continues to prove himself as a rising star in European football.
