Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak set to appoint Berekum Chelsea’s Christopher Ennin as assistant coach – Reports

Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are reportedly set to appoint Berekum Chelsea trainer Christopher Ennin as the new assistant coach of the club ahead of the second round of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians has effected changes in the technical team with the appointment of Ivorian Aboubakar Ouattara as head coach as they seek to turn things around in the second half of the campaign, which commences this weekend.

According to reports in the local media, the Ghanaian giants are in talks with Ennin and are willing to offer him the assistant coach role at the club after parting ways with Rahim Bashiru, who served under Martin Koopman as assistant gaffer.

Ennin has been impressive since joining Berekum Chelsea, and the Phobians believes he can solidify the technical department of the club.

He won eight games, drew three and suffered six defeats in the 17 games he played in the first half of the Ghana Premier League.
