Former Hearts of Oak player Sadat Karim inspired Halmstads BK to a vital with his 4th goal of the season in the Swedish Superettan on Sunday afternoon.
Karim grabbed the winning goal when Halmstads beat Skovde AIK by a 3-2 scoreline at the Orjans Vall Stadium.
The home side broke the deadlock of the match in the 10th minute after Swedish forward Alexander Johansson scored to them in front.
Skovde drew level a minute after the half hour mark with a goal from midfielder Villiam Granath.
Halmstads retook the lead just three minutes after recess with defender Alexander Berntsson scoring but the visitors equalised again seven minutes later.
The 30-year-old Ghanaian forward netted the match winner ensure Halmstads pick all three points in the 59th minute.
Karim was set up by former Ghanaian international defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh for 4th goal of the season after 22 appearances in the Swedish second-tier.
He has seven assists to his credit in the process as Halmstads continue the lead the standings.
