Ghanaian forward Sadat Karim opened his goal scoring account for the season after netting in Halmstad BK’s victory over Skovde AIK.
The former Hearts of Oak striker also served an assist as the Halmstad continued their impressive start to the campaign with a 3-1 win on the road.
The hosts broke the game’s deadlock in the 33rd minute through Filip Schyberg but Halmstad levelled three minutes later. Andreas Johansson scored to equalize for Halmstad.
Samuel Kroon gave the visitors the lead four minutes after the break before the impressive Sadat Karim crowned a magnificent performance with his side’s third in the 70th minute.
“Goal, assist, an important away win. Alhamdulillah,” wrote Sadat on Twitter after the game.
The victory keeps Halmstad two points off Superettan league leaders AFC Ekilstuna after just six games in the ongoing campaign.
Sadat Karim will play a key role if Halmstad BK are to make a quick return to the Swedish Allsvenskan.
