English-born Ghanaian striker Kwame Poku was on the scoresheet again on Tuesday evening as Peterborough United came from behind to beat Accrington Stanley 3-1 in the EFL League One.

The 21-year-old, who lasted the entire duration of the game put up an impressive display to help side secure all three points at the Weston Homes Stadium.

Stanley took the lead on the 25th-minute through defender Harvey Rodgers who ended a five-and-a-half year wait for a second career goal.

But Mason-Clark bagged the equaliser eight minute later with a fabulous 20-yard strike.

After the recess, Mason-Clark then turned provider as Poku made it 2-1 six minutes into the second half before League One leading scorer Jonson Clarke-Harris latched onto a long Nathan Thompson ball and slotted his 12th goal of the campaign.

The result lifts Peterborough United to 4th on the league table with 28 points after 16 matches played so far this season.

Poku has now scored three goals and provided two assists in nine league games for Peterborough.
