Ghanaian forward Dauda Mohammed sustained an injury in CD Tenerife’s defeat to UD Ibiza in the Spanish second-tier on Sunday.
The on-loan Anderlecht striker picked up a fracture of two vertebrae when his side suffered a 1-0 defeat at away.
After test on Monday, it was confirmed the Ghanaian forward suffered fractures of the transverse process of the second and third lumbar vertebra.
The 24-year-old started the game but was forced off after just 10 minutes due to the injury.
Dauda Mohammed has featured five times in the ongoing season, scoring one goal in the process.
The former Asante Kotoko star is expected to spend sometime on the sideline.
