Ghanaian defender Jordi Osei-Tutu set to join PAS Ioanninai on loan

VfL Bochum’s right-back, Jordi Osei-Tutu, appears set to embark on a new chapter in his football journey as he prepares to join Greek club PAS Ioanninai on loan.

The anticipated move, reported by Bild, underlines the English-born Ghanaian defender’s bid for more playing time and a chance to reignite his career.

Despite his potential and early promise, Osei-Tutu has found himself on the fringes at VfL Bochum this season, featuring only on the first matchday and subsequently playing no significant role for the blue-whites.

This impending loan deal marks his second departure from the Bundesliga club, following a previous loan stint nearly four years ago.

Osei-Tutu left Reading’s development academy to join Arsenal in July 2015. In October 2015, he signed his first professional deal.

Jordi Osei-Tutu signed a three-year deal with VfL Bochum on 23 June 2022.

The 25-year-old’s struggle to secure a consistent spot in the starting XI is evident, and his market worth, estimated at €800,000 by Transfermarkt
