French-born Ghanaian defender Dennis Appiah has been ranked third best tackler in Europe’s top 5 leagues.
The lateral defender won 105 tackles last season while with French Ligue 1 side Caen.
And, that achievement is only short of behind new Chelsea signing N’Golo Kante (Leicester City), 126, and Aston Villa’s Idrissa Gueye (108).
Appiah’s achievement last season in the French top-flight was enormous as he emerged the only outfield player to complete every single game last season.
He was sold to Belgian giants Anderlecht at the end of the season where he has joined Ghanaian duo Emmanuel Sowah and Frank Acheampong.
Appiah played for AS Monaco during the reign of Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri at the club.
He is yet to be considered for a place in the Ghana team though he has declared his readiness to play for the West African giants.
