Ghanaian attacker Christian Atsu passes on after days under rubble

Ghanaian attacker, Christian Atsu, has passed away after several days under rubble following the devastating earthquake in Turkey.

The Hatay player was found dead on Saturday morning, having been under the debris for over 10 days.

The 31-year-old joins over 10,000 people who lost their lives from the natural disaster.

Atsu moved to Hatayspor this season on a year deal and scored his debut goal in a 1-0 win over Kasimpasa on Sunday, February 5.

He played for Ghana’s Black Stars at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
