Ghana Women’s Premier League: Four players shortlisted for Player of Month for November

Four players, Mary Amponsah, Helen Alormenu, Mafia Nyame and Ophelia S. Amponsah have been nominated for the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League player of the month for November.

Mary Amponsah was exceptional for Ampem Darkoa after reclaiming a starting berth in all three matches and scored five goals in three matches.

Helen Alormenu is staking her claim for a regular starting spot in the Essiam Socrates midfield as she netted three times in November with one NASCO MVP award to her credit.

Mafia Nyame found her best form for Faith Ladies in the month of November despite her slow start to the season – netting twice in three matches and holds one NASCO MVP for the month of November.

Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah of Ampem Darkoa found her scoring boot in the Month of November as she found the back of the net six times in three games and also won the NASCO MVP twice in the month under review.

Winner of the player of the Month for November will take home a 32inch NASCO Television set and an additional cash prize from title sponsors Malta Guinness.
