Ghana womens coach Dadzie positive despite late camping

Black Queens coach Kuuku Dadzie remains upbeat despite the late camping of his team.

The national womens team commenced residential camping on Sunday ahead of their two-legged African Womens Championship qualifier against Cameroon in May.

The team however was supposed to have commenced camping last week but Dadzie insists he will be looking to work round the clock to make up for the days lost.

“It is true we were supposed to start camping last week but myself and the rest of the technical team will be working around the clock to ensure we recover the lost days,” he told Accra-based Radio XYZ.

Another source of worry is the absence of a number of key players of the Black Queens who are also on duty with the U-20 side the Black Princesses.

And though Dadzie recognizes it poses a problem he hopes to get it resolved with a meeting with his U-20 counterpart Robert Sackey.

“Well it is a problem but I hope to meet the technical team and management of the Black Princesses so together we can solve this problem to make sure we have stronger teams for the assignments ahead.”
