Ghanaian right winger King Faisal has joined Ellas Syros on a free transfer from AE Larisa, signing a deal with the Super League 2 side until 30 June 2027. The 22-year-old moves within the Greek second tier as a permanent signing and will continue his career in the country after a series of appearances across both Super League 1 and Super League 2.
Faisal, who was born in Techiman and is comfortable playing off either foot, completed the move on 29 July 2026. His market value is currently listed at €75,000, underlining Ellas Syros’ decision to secure him without a fee as they strengthen their attacking options on the flanks.
The winger arrives from Larisa having first joined them in August 2025, also on a free transfer, from Sao Paulo’s under-20 side in Brazil. During his time under contract with Larisa he spent part of the 2025-26 season on loan at Egaleo, before returning at the end of that campaign.
Faisal has already built up experience in Greek football, featuring in both the top flight and second tier, as well as in the Super League 2 play-out phase. Earlier in his career, he accumulated game time in Brazilian youth competitions with Sao Paulo’s under-20s, including league and cup action, adding goals and assists to his record.
The move means Faisal will now be tied to Ellas Syros for the 2026-27 season, giving the club a versatile right-sided attacker under contract for the coming campaign.
