Ghana international, Kamal Sowah was in action for Club Brugge on Tuesday night when the team drew goalless against Bayer Leverkusen in the Uefa Champions League.

After the final game in Group B, Kamal Sowah and his Club Brugge teammates finished second in the standings.

The 11 points accrued are enough to send the Belgian Jupiler Club to the knockout stage of this season’s Uefa Champions League

In a Twitter post after the Bayer Leverkusen game, Kamal Sowah has rallied his teammates to stay focused and do more when the competition returns next year after the World Cup break.

“Let’s continue this journey in 2023 Champions League and to our fans we appreciate all the support,” the Ghana forward said on Twitter.

Kamal Sowah is hoping that his performances for Club Brugge in the Uefa Champions League and Belgian domestic league would earn him a place in the final Ghana squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
