In a decisive move to improve the matchday experience for fans, the National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced that no tickets will be sold after 3:00 PM on Sunday for Ghana’s final 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Comoros, scheduled for 7:00 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The early closure of ticket sales is intended to ensure a more orderly and safe environment for everyone attending the match. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets well in advance to secure their seats and avoid disappointment.
By implementing this policy, the NSA aims to enhance the overall match day experience, reducing chaos and ensuring that security and crowd management efforts are effective.
“Worth noting that on match day, tickets will not be sold after 3pm. The match is at 7pm and the reason for this is that we don’t want the challenges we had the last time where fans were crowding around the stadium looking to purchase tickets. It must be very clear.”
