The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the cancellation of the scheduled friendly matches against Algeria’s national team, the Fennecs.
The Algerian Football Federation sent an official communication to the GFA, citing unforeseen circumstances that made it impossible for their team to travel to Ghana for the games.
The Federation also conveyed its apologies for any inconvenience caused by their withdrawal from the matches.
The GFA is currently making efforts to find a suitable replacement team to play against, with an equal level of competitiveness as Algeria.
