Ghana U20 Head Coach Maxwell Konadu has announced a second group of players to report for screening at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The young prospects are expected to join the camp on Monday, November 24, 2025, as the team ramps up preparations for the 2026 WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship.

This latest call-up features standout performers from the inaugural MTN Elite U19 Championship, including Yussif Saani of Dansoman Liberty Sports Academy and Gideon Otabil of Maverick Soccer Club.

The first batch of invitees completed their assessments over the weekend, paving the way for this next group to showcase their abilities.

The ongoing screening process is a key part of the technical staff’s strategy to assemble a competitive squad for the upcoming regional tournament.

Multiple groups of young players are being evaluated to identify those capable of earning a spot in the national U20 setup.

These trials provide an important platform for emerging talents to demonstrate their skills and stake a claim for international representation.

Konadu and his staff aim to finalize a squad that combines quality, versatility, and readiness for competitive action.
