Ghana’s newly formed U-19 boys’ national team will open a training camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Tuesday, 27 May.
A group of selected players has been invited by the technical team for a screening session, as preparations get underway to assemble a strong squad for future national and international competitions.
The U-19 side was established by the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council to bridge the gap between the U-17 (Black Starlets) and U-20 (Black Satellites) teams.
It forms a key part of the GFA’s broader youth development plan, designed to guide promising young footballers through the ranks and ready them for the elite level of the game.
