Ghanaian trio of Awal Mohammed, Yakubu Mohammed and Nathaniel Asamoah have reached the Moroccan League Cup semi-finals with Raja Casablanca after playing parts in victory over Maghreb Fès on Wednesday.Â
Awal, 27, and capped 5 times by Ghana started the game in central defence along with attacker Yakubu Mohammed but Nathaniel Asamoah warmed the bench.
After neither of the teams was able to nick an outright win in regulation-time and extra-time but Raja won the tie 4-2 on penalties.
Raja could face FUS Rabat, Chabab Atlas Khénifra or Khouribga who have all qualified for the semi-final.
