Ghana will start their pre-tournament camping for the 2022 World Cup on November 10, Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has revealed.
The Black Stars who will be making their fourth appearance at the global showpiece are pitted in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
Head Coach Otto Addo is expected to name his provisional squad for the tournament in the coming days.
The Ghana FA have lined-up a friendly against Switzerland as part of preparations for the mundial.
Speaking in an interview, Asante Twum said, “The Black Stars will open camp on November 10.
“The team will play Switzerland before flying to Qatar for the tournament,” he added.
The Black Stars will lock horns with Portugal in their opening Group game at – Stadium 974, Doha on November 24 before facing South Korea at Education City Stadium, Al Rayyan four days later.
The last group match is the much anticipated clash against Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium, Al Wakrah on December 2.
