Ghana will increase it’s squad from 23 to 26 at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year.
The decision comes as a result of the latest amendment made by the Bureau of the FIFA Council which constitutes the FIFA President and the six confederation presidents.
This means Ghana and the other 31 national teams set to feature at the Qatar world cup will have the opportunity to add three more players.
Ghana found herself in Group H with Portugal Uruguay and South Korea and this will be her fourth appearance in the world biggest football tournament since 2006, after missing the last edition on Russia four years ago
In the next few months, Ghana head coach Otto Addo will continue to monitor players to assemble the best squad for the mundial set to be staged from November to December.
