Ghana will take on Switzerland in a warmup friendly in the United Arab Emirates ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Both countries are taking advantage of their late start at the tournament in Qatar to play each other as part of preparations for the global showpiece.
The Swiss football federation said Monday the game will be played in Abu Dhabi on November 17, one week before the teams play their opening group games at the World Cup.
The tournament starts November 20 but Switzerland opens on November 24 in Group G against Cameroon, a west African team like Ghana. The group also includes Brazil and Serbia.
Ghana are in Group H and also starts Nov. 24 against Portugal. Ghana also plays South Korea and Uruguay.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars will play against Brazil in an International friendly next month.
The game will take place on Friday, September 23, 2022 at a yet to be named venue in Europe.
