Black Stars assistant coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, says the new technical handlers of the Black Stars will maintain the core of the team.

Former Tottenham Spurs trainer Chris Hughton was named as the head coach of Black by the Ghana Football Association and assisted by George Boateng and Didi Dramani.

In a yet-to-air interview on Prime Take, the 56-year-old told Joy Sports stated that: “The [World Cup] squad is still alive. You have to look at how the leagues are going now as well as those [players] who are on the pitch.

“Talking about those to maintain, if the person is injured he is out [for the qualifiers].

“The core of the team is still the base,” he added.

The Chris Hughton and his two deputies will commence work next month when the Black Stars engage Angola in an AFCON qualifiers at the Cape Coast Stadium
