Ghana striker Kwabena Owusu scores to inspire Qarabag to hammer Turan 3-0 in Azerbaijani top-flight league

Ghana international, Kwabena Owusu was in action for his Qarabag outfit on Thursday evening in the league match against Turan.

In a game serving as a matchday 11 encounter of the ongoing Azerbaijani top-flight league campaign, the striker started in the attack of his team.

Just two minutes into the first half, Kwabena Owusu was presented with a good chance and made it count. The forward fired his effort past the goalkeeper of Turan and found the back of the net to give his team the lead.

Building on that lead, Qarabag continued to play very well and scored two additional goals through strikes from Ramil Sheydayev and Filip Ozobic.

At the end of the 90 minutes, Qarabag have picked all three points thanks to a 3-0 victory.

With his goal today, Ghana’s Kwabena Owusu now has three league goals after making nine appearances for his team this season.
