Andre Ayew says he is not considering retirement and will continue playing as long as he feels physically strong.
The veteran forward, now 36, recently sealed a move to NAC Breda after spending several months without a club in the 2025/26 season.
Despite staying active at club level, Ayew has not featured for Ghana since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
Asked about the possibility of calling time on his career, the former Black Stars captain dismissed the idea.
“I never thought about it because my body is good. I feel good, I live my life day to day so I prepare myself every time to have a better tomorrow on the field and off the field.
“I don’t think about that. When the moment comes, your body will tell you (to retire).”
Since arriving at NAC Breda in January, Ayew has played six league games, making one start.
He remains confident that his experience and discipline can keep him competing at a high level.
