Ghana striker Jordan Ayew was in action for Crystal Palace in their goalless draw against Leeds United on Monday night in the English Premier League.
Ayew made a return to a starting XI after being benched in Palace’s previous games.
The 30-year-old lasted for 67 minutes and was replaced by Michael Olise at Selhurst Park Stadium.
Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha came closest to scoring but saw his powerful shot well held by Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
England midfielder Conor Gallagher also fired a half-volley narrowly over the crossbar from the edge of the area as Leeds secured their second successive clean sheet.
In the last 10 minutes Zaha twice had attempts blocked by the legs of Meslier as Leeds held on for a valuable point.
Ayew’s compatriot Jeffery Schlupp was introduced into the game in the 78th minute in place of Eze.
Crystal Palace are 14th on the league table with 38 points after 33 matches played so far.
Ayew has made 29 league appearances for Crystal Palace, scored two goals and provided three assists.
