Ghana striker Jordan Ayew committed to Olympique Marseille

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has announced he will remain at French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille.

The 21-year-old, who is under contract at the Stade Velodorme until June 2015, says he is far from leaving the club.

Jordan has attracted interest from Saint Etienne but the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele wants to stay with Elie Baup’s squad.

“At the moment, I do not see myself leaving Marseille,” the younger Ayew told beIN Sport.

“This is my first club. I come here, I still have years to play here .

“I feel very comfortable here , my family too. I cannot say anything more.”

Jordan made 19 appearances for the club last season and scored seven goals.

He is facing competition from Andre-Pierre Gignac for a starting role this term.
