Ghana international, Felix Afena-Gyan is on the brink of leaving Italian Serie A side, AS Roma.
Since the summer transfer window was opened, several clubs have been chasing the signature of the talented striker.
In the last few weeks, US Cremonese leapfrogged all the interested clubs to become the favourite to sign the teenager.
On Monday, August 22, after the new Italian Serie A side lost to AS Roma on matchday 2 of the new league campaign, officials of the two clubs held talks on the transfer of Felix Afena-Gyan.
Today, information gathered from a credible source indicates that the two clubs have reached the final stage of talks.
A reported sum of €7 million has been agreed as the transfer fee for the Ghana striker.
Although AS Roma holds the player in high esteem, the club has not been able to insert a buy-back clause into the deal to transfer him to US Cremonese.
If things go as planned, an official announcement of the deal should come before Friday.
