Ghana star Kwadwo Asamoah claims advantage as Juventus face Fiorentina again in Europa League

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah believes the weekend’s win over Fiorentina gives Juventus the edge as they face the same side again in the Europa League.

The Italian champions will be hosting Viola in the first leg of their Europa League clash on Thursday just days after securing a tough 1-0 win over the same side in Serie-A.

Asamoah scored what eventually proved to be the winner in the Serie-A clash and believes the vital win gives his side the advantage going into the European tie clash.

“I think it [the win] helped us learn a lot of things for the European game against Fiorentina,” he said.

“We are going to watch videos and see our mistakes and then see what we can do on Thursday.

“You know, every game is how we play, and every game is how we move. So, we will see what we can do for Thursday, to see what we can do to improve.”

Asamoah’s goal last weekend was only his second in 24 Serie-A matches this season.
