Ghana star Andre Ayew has challenged Al Sadd to return to winning ways in the Qatar Stars League when they face Al-Wakrah at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Wednesday.
The defending champions have not started as well as many would have expected, and they currently sit six places behind first place.
After six matches, Al Sadd have only won two games this season, trailing current leaders Al Arabi by eight points.
Ayew, on the other hand, has performed admirably, scoring twice in the last two games to reach 20 goals for Al Sadd since joining the club last year.
Al Sadd return to action on Wednesday, and Ayew is eager to score for the third game in a row and inspire the club to victory.
Ayew will reach 150 club career goals with two goals on Wednesday, an impressive feat for a midfielder.
