Ghana has been given $50,000 for finishing third in this year’s Kirin Cup tournament in Japan.
The Black Stars secured the bronze medal following their 3-1 win over Chile on penalty shootouts.
Otto Addo’s men failed to reach the final after suffering a 4-1 defeat to host nation, Japan in the opener of the four-nation event.
Tunisia are winners of the tournament after beating Japan 3-0 in the final.
The competition was organized to provide the nations the opportunity to prepare for the 2022 FIFA World Cup which Ghana, Tunisia and Japan have all qualified to participate in the global showpiece slated for November to December 2022.
