Former Ashgold defender, Richard Osei Agyemang has added his chorus about financial struggles of Ghana Premier League players, pointing to unclear salary arrangements as root cause.
The domestic topflight has been plagued by player exodus, with inadequate salaries being the driving force behind this trend.
In a recent interview on Kessben TV, Richard, the former Kotoko defender expressed concerns about the financial state of players in the league.
“Elsewhere, the signing-on-fees of players in Ghana are like the salaries of their players. They should pay the players here well for them to stay. At least players should be earning around GHC10,000.
“There is no player in the Ghana Premier League who is rich. There is no one, I tell you. I dare anyone to come out,” he said.
