Medeama SC look to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League when they host Heart of Lions at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa on Saturday evening.

The team has earned nine points from their first three matches following victories over Accra Lions, Legon Cities and Basake Holy Stars.

The 2022-23Premier League champions are back in front of their home fans when they entertain Heart of Lions on Saturday. Kick off 18:00 GMT (6pm local time).

Medeama SC are loving life under their Bosnian coach Nebojsa Kapor at the moment as they lie top of the table with with nine points.

They have a 100% win record with one outstanding game to spare in match week three against defending league champions FC Samartex 1996.

They’ve scored four and conceded just one goal so far in what has been a blistering start to the season for the former Premier League champions.

Versatile Medeama defender Kamaradini Mamudu has simply been brilliant. The talented right-back has scored two goals and contributed immensely to the club’s success so far.

However, they will be wary of the threat posed by the visitors as they won 1-0 at the Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa last season. The Mauve and Yellow conceded the least number of goals at home last season (6).

Heart of Lions also remain unbeaten in the league as they sit pretty third in the league table with six points  The Kpando lads have recorded three draws, one victory, scored five and conceded three goals. Coach Bashiru Hayford’s side are unbeaten in their last six consecutive away games in the league.

Medeama SC have played Heart of Lions once at home in the league since the Kpando lads gained promotion back in the Premiership last season, losing 1-0 in Tarkwa.
