Nations FC extended their impressive form in the Ghana Premier League with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Karela United at the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex on Sunday.
Both teams created chances in an intense match, but it was Faisal Charwetey’s goal that ultimately secured all three points for Nations FC.
This was Charwetey’s fifth goal of the season, making him the league’s leading scorer.
The victory places Nations FC in second position on the league table with 16 points, while Karela United sits 13th with nine points.
