Ghana played ‘for fun’ against Mozambique – Emmanuel Adebayor
Togolese legend, Emmanuel Adebayor has slammed the performance of the Black Stars against Mozambique in their last group stage game at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 against Mozambique and eventually settle for a point.
The outcome all but confirms their exit from the tournament.
“They [Black Stars] knew this was a key game for the country and the way they played was just unbelievable. They played with no motivation, no anger and no communication. They played like they were just there for fun.” He concluded.
Ghana are now on the brink of a back-to-back group stage exits, having been eliminated at the first round in the 2021 edition in Cameroon.
