Ghana midfielder Charles Takyi aids Energie Cottbus maiden Bundesliga II win

Ghana midfielder Charles Takyi played an influential role in Energie Cottbus’ first win of the season as they recorded first win of the season beating Paderborn 4-0 on Sunday.

The 28-year-old played full throttle for the former Bundesliga side as they recorded an emphatic win at their favourite home grounds.

Ivorian forward Bubakar Sanogo hit a hat-trick to add to Alexander Bittroff’s second goal as Cottbus lifted themselves from the foot of the table.

Takyi rejoined the Cottbus to help their promotion campaign and relaunch his career in Germany.
